1. Scope and basic app use
Geulbom is a Markdown editor for Windows. During basic use, it does not automatically collect names, email addresses, device identifiers, location information, or document contents. The app has no account system, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, telemetry, or user behavior tracking.
2. Local documents and app data
Documents are stored in local files selected by the user. Theme and view settings, recent-document information, and temporary crash-recovery documents may be stored in the Windows local app data area. This information and document contents are not sent to a DAOLSOFT server.
3. Network use and remote images
Core editing features work offline. If a Markdown document includes a remote http or https image, the preview may request that image from its server. The image server may process ordinary connection information such as an IP address, request time, and user agent under its own policy.
4. Optional local AI
Only when the user chooses local AI does Geulbom separately download a model of approximately 2.8GB. The model is provided through Hugging Face or a Cloudflare R2 repository managed by DAOLSOFT. During the download, the provider may process ordinary connection information such as an IP address, request time, and user agent under its own policy.
After installation, AI inference runs on the user's PC. Document source text, AI prompts, conversation content, and generated results are not sent to Hugging Face, Cloudflare, or a DAOLSOFT server. They are not written to diagnostic logs, and AI conversation history is not stored.
5. Microsoft Store
App updates and Pro purchases or restores are handled through Microsoft Store. DAOLSOFT does not directly receive or store payment card information handled by Microsoft Store. Microsoft's terms and privacy statement apply to Store use.

Geulbom does not request access to the camera, microphone, location, or contacts, and it never sends a report email automatically.
7. AI result reports and inquiries
Selecting ‘Report AI result’ opens only a draft in the default email app; Geulbom does not send the email automatically. By default, the draft contains only the app version, model ID, and model version. Options to include source text and the AI result are off by default. Only when the user selects an option is up to the first 1,200 characters of that item added to the draft.
If the user sends the draft from the email app, DAOLSOFT receives the sender's email address, inquiry description, and any content the user chose to include. This information is used only to answer the inquiry, investigate the issue, and comply with Microsoft Store policy.
8. Retention and deletion
Documents and HTML or PDF exports are managed directly by the user. Recent-document information, settings, and recovery copies can be removed from the local PC by resetting the app or uninstalling it. When the Microsoft Store version of Geulbom is uninstalled, Windows also removes the AI model stored in the package local cache.
Report and inquiry information received by email is kept only as needed to answer the inquiry and investigate the issue, and is deleted when it is no longer needed. The policies of the user's email service and DAOLSOFT's receiving mail system also apply to transmission and storage.
9. Advertising, analytics, and website access logs
The Geulbom app has no advertising, analytics, remote telemetry, or user behavior tracking. DAOLSOFT's public Geulbom pages also use no advertising or analytics scripts.
When a user opens the website, hosting and network providers may process ordinary access records such as an IP address, request time, and user agent to deliver and secure the page. This is separate from data processing by the Geulbom app.
10. External providers
Microsoft Store handles app updates and purchases or restores. Hugging Face and Cloudflare R2 provide the local AI model download selected by the user. Each provider's privacy policy applies to ordinary connection information, processing locations, and retention. Geulbom does not include document source text, AI prompts, or generated results in a model download request.
11. User choices and contact
Users can use the editor without installing local AI, leave source text and AI results out of a report, and cancel the draft before sending it. Users directly control deletion of local files and app data. Contact devsky@daolsoft.net with questions about privacy or data handling.
12. Changes to this policy
If app data handling or an external provider changes, this page and its effective date will be updated before the change is released.
